Hell Hath No Fury Like a Shoeshine Guy Scorned
Remember how somebody kept burning down that shoeshine stand at Bryant Park under cover of night? Which seemed random the first time, but then really suspicious when the replacement stand went up in flames? 
In happier times.
John Swain, a 71-year-old shoeshiner, has come forward to claim the crimes. Why? Well, "Swain reportedly was angry that he was not permitted to work at the stands."
Proving yet again that women have nothing on elderly shoeshine guys.
