Subway Stabber Charged
Early today, Brenddy Garcia, 19, of Brownsville, Brooklyn, was charged in the double homicide of Darnell Morel and Ricardo Williams that took place on the No. 2 subway line Sunday morning.

Garcia confessed to the stabbings but claimed he was acting in self-defense "after the victims and their friends got on the train drunk and belligerent" -- a story which friends of the victims dispute. Garcia has no criminal record.
