The National Weather Service has issued a ***WARNING: INCLEMENT WEATHER ADVISORY*** forecasting thunderstorms with gusts of high wind up to 60 mph for the New York City area tonight. Stay away from rooftop construction sites; hold on to your hats; ladies, watch your skirts; and whatever you do, don't let your dogs out on the balcony.
Seriously, we hear a Tribeca terrier recently blew off a terrace. Fortunately, "miracle dog" Alfie is OK.
