Overachieving Chinese Doctor Busted for Diagnosing Faster Than Anybody
So you thought your doctor wasn't spending enough time listening to your aches and pains? A doctor in Taiwan has been rebuked by the government for diagnosing patients after an average of just 84 seconds, reports the Telegraph. Wu Ming-feng of the private Minsheng hospital diagnosed 61,366 patients last year, and up to 339 patients per day.
Your time is up, sir.
Wow.
But he did it all in the interest of fairness! "If the government wants to restrict the daily number of patients," he said, "it's OK with me. I don't even want to have so many patients. I just thought it would be unfair not to see them."
It's not known how many people he diagnosed correctly, nor how many suffered whiplash as a result of his treatment.
