Police Seek Suspect in Homicide of Long Island Man

Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect, pictured in the adjacent police sketch, wanted in the June 21 shooting of Maurice Gordon, 33, of Freeport, Long Island. Gordon was shot once in the chest at approximately 4:00 a.m. in front of 161-2 118 Avenue, Queens. He was brought to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced DOA. The suspect is described a black male between 28 and 32 years old, 5'10" to 6'0", with a thin build and black hair.
