Barack Obama Will Dish With The View Ladies as POTUS
President Obama is about to make, um, history, by becoming the first U.S. President to appear on a daytime TV talk show -- something George Washington or Abraham Lincoln could never actually get away with, media being what it was in those days (also, they weren't exactly lookers). In the modern-day equivalent to a Gettysburg Address (not really) our POTUS will sit down with The View ladies to dish about "his administration's accomplishments, jobs, the economy, the Gulf oil spill, and family life inside the White House." 
Barbara Walters is even making an early return after heart surgery for this one!
It goes without saying, but we'll say it anyway: PR spin. Obama's popularity rating is not so hot right now -- Bill Clinton has actually surpassed him, possibly because people are hankering for an invite to Chelsea's wedding, and also, he's fun -- so here's hoping the POTUS' presence on daytime TV will boost his standings again ... like when he appeared on the show before he was elected in 2008. Ah, the old days...
