Police Seek Suspects in Staten Island Hate Crime

The NYPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a Staten Island assault that occurred on Wednesday, July 7. A 50-year-old hispanic man was walking on Port Richmond Avenue toward Harrison Avenue at about 4 p.m. when he bumped into a black female. The suspects, both black men in their 20s, approached the man and began a verbal altercation, then punched him in the face and kicked him repeatedly. Photos of the suspects after the jump.

Both suspects are approximately 6 feet tall. One was wearing a white T-shirt with dark writing and light blue pants; the other had on a multi-colored checkered button-down shirt, a white tank top, blue jean shorts, dark sneakers, and a dark baseball cap.
