Charlie Rangel Finally Speaks Out on "Charlie Rangel" (Audio)
Via WNYC's Azi Paybarah, here's a hysterical interview of Charlie Rangel referring to himself in the third person. Also, who's holding this guy's thesaurus these days? "Scintilla," huh? Even if he's not convicted of ethics fraud, he should still be convicted of sounding ridiculous. He's like Mayor Quimby meets, I don't know, somebody equally ridiculous who also refers to themselves in the third-person. 
Highlights:
6:00: "You can't find any monetary benefit that comes to Charlie Rangel. Not inferred, not implied, or NOTHING."
8:30: "There's not one scintilla of evidence that supports that Charlie Rangel got a nickel of anything from anybody."
Also, at one point he invokes Robert Morgenthau and Mother Theresa in the same sentence. This man is special.
