Judge Has Mercy on Lindsay Lohan After She Shows Up for Hearing in Toyota Minivan

Well, Lindsay Lohan had her court date today, to which she actually showed up early in a Toyota minivan instead of an Escalade, and the highly anticipated answer to whether she'd be sent back to rehab or to prison is...back to rehab! Those of you who guessed correctly, please use the nearest white phone to summon your prize. Also, FYI, her hair is red again.

This makes for, technically, Lohan's sixth round in rehab (she remains at Betty Ford), where she'll reportedly stay until January 3, unless she needs a Coke or something. Her next court date is February 25.

Sheesh, all this could really wreak havoc with a person's career!

Meanwhile, bizarrely (or not?), Lindsay's dad Michael was attacked by "a white man in his 50s or 60s...wearing a black track suit" last night in Santa Monica and suffered minor injuries to his neck.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Michael earlier this week said that he had turned over a new leaf in regards to his frequent media appearances, and said he would be keeping quiet for now on, in hopes of eliminating any "hurt, pain and embarrassment" his family suffers as a result of his animated public tirades.
