Lower East Side's Yarn Bike Delivers Healthy Baby Bike
This is the most adorable thing we've seen today and it's not even animate! Remember the yarn bike down on the Lower East Side, back in its heyday? Well, apparently it got around. [Insert "town bike" joke here]. And now, some unknown gestation period later, we have the result, at Bowery and Delancey. Thanks to Bowery Boogie for spotting this, and to Olek, the knitter, for being so darn cute (check out her exhibit, "Knitting is for Pus****" at the Christopher Henry gallery -- it ends this Sunday).
