Who Still Loves Barack Obama? Young Folks!

AYOUTHVOTE_P1.jpg_full_380.jpg
Despite the majority of stodgy old adults disapproving of President Obama's job performance, millennials -- who are aged 18 to 29, in case you're not one -- are still supporting him in droves. According to a recent Pew Research report, 58 percent of them are still quite happy with Barack. They also approve largely of health care legislation and are pro big-government and services.

Meanwhile, half of Gen-Xers, who are slightly older, are pro-POTUS, and "just 41 percent of Baby Boomers and 40 percent of the Silent Generation" (way older!) like what the president's doing these days.

As for what he's doing -- being on MTV, and the Daily Show, for instance -- well, those activities do indeed seem rather primed for the millennials, or at least for people without cataract troubles. Even if no one thinks he's funny. Which is, in fairness, not really his job.

Interestingly, according to a recent Harvard study, millennials don't actually care much about voting in midterm elections. Less than three in 10 say they'll definitely vote, even though a majority would like a Democrat-controlled Congress. Let's get it together, kids.
