If You're a Woman Whose Name Ends in A, You're Probably Having Sex Right Now
Okay, first off, the females of Runnin' Scared, whose first names end in "n" and "e," do not believe this research one iota. However, we feel that it's our duty to let you know that, via a French survey from online dating service Smartdate, "women whose names end in "a" have more sexual partners in life than those who don't." The MOST sexually prolific name was Laura (9.7 partners), followed by Tania (9.6), and Lola (9.5). Martines? They did not do so well, perhaps for reasons other than their name.

Keep in mind that the average sexual partners per lifetime is 4.4. Which means, strictly anecdotally speaking, if you live in New York City and your name ends in a, you are OFF THE CHARTS. Otherwise, you're perfectly happy, thank you very much. Oh yeah, and we're totally naming our daughter Esther. Or maybe Ruth.
