Everybody's Breaking Up!: R.I.P., Celebrity Couples We Never Knew
Alas! Or...hooray! Or...well, how should we know how to feel about any of this, anyway, since we don't actually know them and have only seen them looking generally smiley in pictures? Still, given the news coverage, it seems very important! Breaking: Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds have reportedly separated.

The unhappy couple (who split "amicably," like they all do) join fellow celeb breaker-uppers Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Ephron, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, and even the seemingly perfect combo of beauty and wackiness, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, as casualties to Celebrity Couple Death Year 2010.
Amid all of the keening, let us say, 2010's been a hard year for celeb love. The divorce between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren finally went through. Al and Tipper Gore called it quits. And now, ScarJo and RyRey. There are more but we're too depressed to continue listing all of their adorable nicknames and our special memories of them. We hope that with a little R&R we'll be back up and at 'em soon. We hope.
