Burglars in the East Village — Hide Your Laptops
Cops are looking for two daring burglars who sneaked into a first-floor East Village apartment at 11:30 p.m. January 5, scared the hell out of a 79-year-old woman there, then scurried down the fire escape to another apartment, where they stole jewelry, a laptop, and credit cards. This all took place at 127 East Seventh Street. There are photos of the alleged scumbags, both of them 25 to 35 years old, one wearing a brown jacked and multi-colored hat and the other wearing a black jacket and black knit cap.
