Via Weather.com, "the best chance of significant snow appears to target southern New England into the Catskills and Poconos Friday into Saturday. This could also include parts of the New York City metro."

Go stock up on bread and milk and at least you'll have something to eat all weekend as you wait to see if it actually snows. In the meantime, let's be happy it's not dead birds they're predicting.
