I don't understand what this point has to do with Beck's correct perception that it is the Left that has clearly damaged America to a very great degree in every way, the family, minorities, the soon-to-be-elderly who won't have the benefits they paid for under Social Security because just Soc. Sec. & Medicare are going to be costing more than our entire economy produces. You see, Social Security was & is a ponzi pyramid scheme that is easily shown to be doomed soon. The only thing in the supposed account is a bunch of i.o.u.'s, it having been raided by congress for decades. The ones who are selective in condemning people are some Liberal Holocaust survivors. While the Left cozies up to Muslim Jew hatred nationwide, especially on our university & college campuses, I don't hear a peep from them or their phony so-called Rabbis. Unfortunately more than a few Orthodox Jews are Liberals, victims of our nanny welfare state, some because they weren't taught about how national socialism creates monsters like Hitler. Others are corrupted by powerful urban Liberal Democrat machines in cities. They don't know that Nazism is another form of collectivism, a great central power, like Obama, only more sophisticated. This subject boils down to one thing only, not the lies being spun by these Leftist so-called "Rabbis," but that Glenn Beck revealed the sophisticated, very dangerous network controlled by this unscrupulous, devious, vile human being, George Soros. If these signatories want to align themselves with this horrific evil just because he happens to have been a child who was there during the attempted holocaust against the Jews, then I condemn them.

• I hope you don't mind my commenting on the Beck article. I read some of your posts, found them interesting and wanted to take a shot, hoping I can do as well. I am a regular Beck listener and I do think some of his comments veer pretty close to anti-Semitism. He denies this and says he is using words like Nazi in a historic way, there are similarities between the 1930s and today.Trouble is he seems to me to use history selectively, sort of cherry picking what suits his purpose which is that the Left is running and ruining the country.That gets especially dicey when Holocaust survivors are involved, and some of the rabbis who signed the letter are survivors, or have people in their care who are, related to a surivor, etc.That is one reason singling out Soros provokes so many people. He IS a survivor and most important he was a child in the camps.He may have done what Beck assuses him of as a child to survive for one more day. As for Roger Ailes, calling the letter signers mostly left-wing ignores their affiliations. Some of them are from orthodox or conservative strands of Judaism, that's why they are listed in the letter. I don't think Beck should be fired or sanctioned but I am sure he uses history in a very biased way. Does that help?Are his listeners and viwers really better informed than before?
