Aleksandr Kuznetsov, 54, Stabbed Dead in Sheepshead Bay; Cops Hunt Lexus-Driving Suspect Maksim Gelman

Homicide suspect Maksim Gelman

A 54-year-old Sheepshead Boy man was found stabbed to death shortly after 5 a.m. today in his home at 2830 East 27th Street. Aleksandr Kuznetsov was discovered with multiple stab wounds and was DOA at the scene. Brooklyn cops already have a suspect: Maksim Gelman, 23. He's 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, and may be driving a gray 2004 Lexus ES330 with the New York license plate DHE8322. Sorry, no VIN number has been released.

Sounds like a Russian mafia tale, this being just east of Brighton Beach and all and the cops having released what look like mug shots of the suspect, but there's no word of that officially. This story is absurd. Maybe if they got their facts right AND used spell check. There was no hit... it was his stepson. The victim was not dead when the police arrived, but they were unable to save him. There is a history of domestic calls at this address and rumor of drug use by the stepson... not mob hit man. He wasnt "Found dead", the call came in and the Po Po answered the call. I expected better from the Village Voice.... silly me.

Honestly Ward, what 8th grade journalism class did you drop out of? This is a stepson who killed his father after a domestic dispute. Where does the Russian mafia even remotly come into play? If its a joke, wonderful, I can understand. (Albeit its a very crappy joke) But it almost sounds to me like you actually believe the bullshit you spew.

If there is a Russian mafia, I hope you get burried by it for your nonsense. I don't expect you to do a ton of factchecking on a blog (God forbid you act like a journalist), but at least don't make random nonsence up.
