Certainly, we are bacchanalian sorts -- at least, this half of Runnin' Scared is. And we've gotten into all sorts of scrapes while intoxicated that would have caused great pain had we been sober (Drunk Bike Accident of '09, you were a doozy). But this is a cautionary tale to EVEN US. Via the New York Post: A man who had been drinking at a West Village bar didn't know he had been stabbed five times until he walked into the hospital hours later, police sources said yesterday.
The tip-off? His shirt was covered in blood. Ouch. Sometimes sobriety is the answer. 'Course, had he not been drunk, that would have really hurt.
