Manhattan: "Most Romantic" Borough?

i-love-ny.JPG
Happy Valentine's Day Poll! According to a new NY1/Marist survey of 657 New York City adults, the "most romantic" borough was declared as Manhattan by 64 percent of city residents. Brooklyn came in second, followed by Queens, Staten Island, and the Bronx. Brooklyners, as to be expected, were the most divided in Manhattan/Brooklyn romance; half of them preferred their own borough. Others of us just live where we live, romance notwithstanding, and ponder questions like...Can a borough really be romantic?

In more "romantic" polling news, a third of New Yorkers would prefer to have Rudy Giuliani as part of their wedding ceremony than Mayor Bloomberg, David Dinkins, or Ed Koch. "None of the above" was presumably not a choice.
