Howard Stern Was So Over Twitter, Briefly

We've already come out as not-fans of Howard Stern's Twitter account or radio show, but we never said the guy should quit. In fact, his extremely loyal followers seem to love it, and even Twitter executives were into it when Stern live-tweeted his own movie, Private Parts. But this morning on the radio, Stern said he was "so over" Twitter because "it's too much contact with the fans."

But Stern tweeted this morning anyway, making no mention of his frustrations with the micro-blogging service.

Apparently he has a cold or something, so maybe he's just grouchy. Or is he always like this? Tell us in the comments, Howard Stern fans.

"We've already come out as not-fans of Howard Stern" Why did this get written? jcoscarelli is a looser and I am a not-fan of this stupid rag.

Howard is over Twitter because it exposes him for how many fans he actually still has. For years, he and his Kool-Aid pouring staff have tricked audiences into thinking Stern still has millions and millions of listeners. Well, where are they? He has 330K Twitter followers, not millions.

Howard resents the limitation of 140 characters. He's all about excess.

He's not relevant with millions of listeners or as the 2nd highest rated guest on the piers Morgan show.

Saying he's not relevant is just a stupid and uneducated comment.

Fact: most people that bash Stern don't even listen to him
