Smash-And-Grab Burglar On a Spree Up at Columbia
Cops are searching for a burglar who has recently been smashing and grabbing in and around Columbia University. The suspect resembles Omar, but we know from The Wire that Omar doesn't bother citizens.
Watch out for this burglar
This burglar's been known to use fire extinguishers to smash his way in--two of his jobs have been in Columbia's offices, and he has ripped off electronics, among other items.
So far, he has hit three buildings on Amsterdam Avenue and another building on West 120th Street. Cops say he's in his 30s and is about 5-10 (which is also the height of the excellent actor Michael K. Williams, who played Omar).
