Voldemort Cat Needs New Home
Not sure if this deserves the tag of "adorable" animals in trouble, but: Charlie is a white cat who lives at a British animal shelter. The shelter workers are having a tough time finding a new home for him because as you can see, he bears a terrifying resemblance to Voldemort. "They are now desperately trying to rehome him and say a family of Harry Potter fans could offer their best hope," according to the Telegraph. But wouldn't a family of Harry Potter fans actually be a worst-case scenario for this cat?

Poor Charlie is actually a skin cancer survivor -- that's why his nose and ears have been removed. It's not his fault that he's so scary! Won't someone please adopt him?
