Elizabeth Taylor was late to her own funeral, because she asked to be. She was laid to rest in L.A.'s Forest Lawn Memorial Park yesterday in a ceremony that began 15 minutes late at her stipulation. Westboro Baptist, who'd threatened to picket, did not appear. Taylor shares a "large, multilevel mausoleum" with Michael Jackson. A larger memorial service is expected in the next couple of weeks. Taylor died of congestive heart failure on Wednesday at the age of 79. [NYDN, Guardian]
