Independents Think Charlie Sheen Would Be a Better President Than Sarah Palin

Charlie Sheen or Sarah Palin? Charlie Sheen or Sarah Palin? Apparently we are not the only people struggling with the difficult question of which of those two incredibly qualified, sane, intelligent, politically savvy personas we would elect president. Thankfully, there has been a poll, and we have answers. Via Public Policy Polling, independents would apparently elect Charlie Sheen before they would elect Sarah Palin, by a 41/36 margin. Is this good or is this bad? We really can't say. Then there's this...

Despite her deficit with independents Palin does lead Sheen 49-29 overall. We also tested Barack Obama against Sheen and the President leads 57-24.

Well, that's something of a relief. Also reassuring is that "Sheen is one of the most unpopular figures" the organization has ever polled on, with only 10 percent of Americans rating him favorably. So, Charlie, don't go getting any ideas. (Unfollow him on Twitter!)

Sarah Palin is a hypocrit. Usually that wouldn't be a problem, but in the case of a U.S. representative trying to act as if she is Hillary Clinton, Israel and India should be off limits, especially is she is only traveling because she thinks it is a good opportunity to help her win the White House. If the majority of Americans laugh at her in the United States, how will it help when the international audience laughs at her in India and Israel? How does Charlie Sheen get injected into stories about Presidential politics & Sarah Palin? This is just more evidence that Palin Derangement Syndrome is epidemic among lamestream journolisters.
