Julian Assange Dancing Photo 'Leaked'
Do you remember the world before Julian Assange? There's just so much to the man, between his pro-transparency organization WikiLeaks, which has disrupted international politics, and his weird web of oddness and egomania, which may have contributed to allegations of sexual abuse and anti-Semitism, but also includes lighter gossip fare, like his hatred of cats and love of online dating. Much of the more superficial stuff made its way into a book by Assange's former WikiLeaks associate Daniel Domscheit-Berg called Inside WikiLeaks: My Time With Julian Assange at the World's Most Dangerous Website. Now there's photographic proof to corroborate at least one of the weird claims from the ex-insider: Julian Assange loves dancing.
Domscheit-Berg wrote in his book about Assange's wacky style of getting down:
Julian took up a lot of space when he danced -- almost like a tribesman performing some kind of ritual. He'd spread his arms and gallop across the dance floor, taking huge steps. He didn't look very rhythmic or coordinated, and he didn't seem to have that much feeling for the music, but he did possess a certain cool. He didn't care what other people thought of him. You need space, he once told me, for your ego to flow.
And now, via Forbes, the Internet has delivered on a photo-sharing site called Min.us, as publicized by a Reddit user. The photographer and even uploader are both, appropriately, anonymous.
But here's a man, who appears to be Julian Assange, seemingly shaking his ass off. Hopefully this scene makes the movie.
