What Does Bloomberg Think of Picasso?
New York Observer politics reporter Azi Paybarah brings us all this video of Mayor Bloomberg at a press conference this morning at New York City's Armory Art Show. "To change the topic, any thoughts on Picasso's Blue Period?" asks a reporter from the Paris Review. There's laughter and Bloomberg says he's "always liked the color," before bragging, "I actually have a connection with Picasso." He keeps talking: "His widow is a friend of mine, so I'll have to consult with her before I say anything about Picasso or her son or her daughter."
