I suppose there are people out there for whom this matters. Just the way there are people for whom income matters, status matters, etc. I have certainly never been with a woman I liked/adored/admired/love who could be so superficial. I have rarely met a person in my 55 years who has either an inflated image of themselves or a dimished imgage oif themselves.

Saying that the average hard penis is 5-7 inches misses the point -- it is WITHIN this range that size can make a big difference. For example, a man with a 7" erection would be horrified to only be 5". Conversely, a man with a 5" tool would kill to be 7". And, you say nothing of girth, which as the commenter below explained, is really the point of much of these enlargement techniques anyways.

i checked on this on google and it said that asian men on average are 5 3/8 " erect, caucasian men on average are 5 3/4 and black men are 5 7/8, that being said women can accomodate 8" with a degree of comfort leaving a 2" differential, take half the population as women or 150 million, divide that by 6 to get feet and divide that by 5280 to get miles, do you realize there is over 6000 miles of unused nookie in the US alone, enough to go from miami to seattle and back

If more straight guys would satisfy their curiosities and check out some other men's penises in person occasionally -- and not flee for fear that this very natural curiosity automatically makes them gay -- then they'd have some realistic standards against which to measure their own members. As a gay guy with a healthy sex drive, I've interacted with plenty of erect penises over the past twenty years of my life, and I can definitely confirm that what the above article reports is indeed correct: the average penis is between 5 and 7 inches in length. In fact, I've rarely seen an erect penis that's shorter than 5 inches, and I've come across far more penises (no pun intended) that measure around 7 inches or above. As a man that has had penis enlargement surgery and is an active member of the men's health world I would like to say these article's are biased, and forgive my sexism, written by woman. Men as hardwired to be drawn to larger breasts because it symbolizes fertility. Woman are hardwired to be drawn to large male gentiles because a large penis and scrotum genetically have a better chance of impregnating a women.

I would like to point out that this article relates to penis length. Studies have shown that penis length for women is nothing compared to girth. Out of the 4 major orgasms types a woman can have 3 of them occur with the first 3-4 inches of a woman's vagina opening where most of the nerve ends lay. Girth matters because it gives the woman the 'filled up feeling' that allows them to orgasm easier and quicker. The average girth size is 5 inches my friends. Usually this is either at mid length or an average of the base, mid and right behind the glan of the penis.

I have written in depth on this subject but to list some bullet points. A large penis = greater ability to satisfy one of a females core nature - sex. You hear only the horror stories about surgeries because most people keep it hush and the mostly the ones that talk are the unhappy ones. Pills help with erections. Pumps have been proven to, in some cases, add up around a 1/4" of girth and help with erections. Stretching has been proven to add length. Pumps and stretching take a long time for results though. 6 months to a year average. Surgery is more complicated. There are a lot of options. Length is a lot more difficult then girth. Women watch porn too, and their expectations are affected by that. So while a guy with a 5 inch penis might be in the statistical range of normal, he's gonna gonna get a number of disappointed looks in the bedroom during his life. Frankly, that is pretty hard to deal with. A guy who's 5'5 is probably in the statistically normal range of male height too, but he still has the right to be pissed he's not 5'9", and a very significant percentage of women will not even consider him because of it. I suppose there's a syndrome for guys who obsess about being short in height too.

Still doesn't matter, women are shallow enough that average size dicks are going to be considered small, and their owners undatable for a good while to come.
