Happy news! The dog that managed to survive for three weeks by clinging to the roof of a house after being swept up in Japan's tsunami has been reunited with its owner. The owner of the dog, whose name is Ban, found her at an animal care center in Kesennuma, Miyagi prefecture, after seeing a news report about the rescue, reports the New York Post.

"I recognized her immediately after seeing her face," she said.

Aw, tsunami dog!

This video of the rescue is pretty great.

And here are the two being reunited, which will make you cry unless you're stronger than we are.
