Anne Sinclair, Dominique Strauss-Kahn's Celebrity Third Wife, Is Paying All of His Bills

The happy (?) couple
Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the ex-IMF chief facing attempted rape charges in New York City, is out of Rikers Island on a $6 million bail package, right into another money-burning arrangement. The armed security officer he's required to keep with him at all hours of the day runs about $200,000 per month, while the apartment at 71 Broadway where he'll await trial is an extra $3,250 a month, never mind lawyers and the like. Strauss-Kahn is only worth about $2 million on his own, but his wife, Anne Sinclair, France's "equivalent of Barbara Walters," is footing all of the bills.

Thanks to her art world dad, she's worth about $1 billion.

The two were married in 1991, but Strauss-Kahn's reputation as a horndog -- complete with nicknames like "Hot Rabbit" and "The Great Seducer" -- never faded.

"There is no doubt that Ms. Sinclair was aware of her husband's skirt-chasing, but in public, at least, seemed not to care," the Times reported over the weekend. But we'll see how long that lasts now that it's affecting her bottom line.

It isn't her 'art world dad'- her father, Robert Sinclair, was a parfumeur and soldier in World War I that married into the family.Anne's grandfather, Paul Rosenberg, amassed the paintings and fortune.
