Baby Survives After Being Thrown Down Trash Chute

garbage bags .jpg
A newborn baby boy was thrown down a Brooklyn housing project trash chute today and survived. The building's super heard the baby crying from inside a plastic garbage bag attached to the trash compactor this morning around 9 a.m. in Walt Whitman House and called the police. The baby was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital and is in stable condition; it looks as though landing in the trash bag broke his fall. Police are searching for whoever threw him down there.

Miracles -- they happen. If it hadn't been for one well-placed plastic bag!
