Dominique Strauss-Kahn Granted $1 Million Bail, Indicted by New York Grand Jury

A grand jury indicted ex-IMF boss Dominique Strauss-Kahn on seven counts in New York Supreme Court on Thursday. He was changed with "two counts of criminal sexual act in the first degree, one count of attempted rape in the first degree, one count of sexual abuse in the first degree, one count of unlawful Imprisonment in the second degree, one count of forcible touching, and one count of sexual abuse in the third degree," CNN reports, though the judge granted the disgraced Frenchman bail, with his bond set at $1 million, plus $5 million in insurance. Strauss-Kahn will be fitted with an electronic ankle bracelet and confined to an apartment in Manhattan, in addition to the requirement that he have one armed guard with him at all times. [CNN]
