Jared Loughner Too Crazy to Stand Trial, Removed From Courtroom After Yelling
"Thank you for the freak show," suspected Arizona shooter Jared Loughner shouted today in court. "She died in front of me." Loughner was removed from the room after telling the judge he would rather watch the hearing on TV, and was later found not competent to stand trial after two experts said he is schizophrenic. Loughner previously pleaded not guilty to 49 charges in the January 8 rampage that killed six people, including a federal judge, and wounded Arizona congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
