Now Osama Bin Laden 'Shoved' Wife, Acted 'Cowardly'

The ever-changing account of what happened when U.S. forces found and killed Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad, Pakistan has been updated once again. This time, an unnamed "senior U.S. official," who presumably was not there that fateful night and doesn't necessarily know more than the rest of his cohort, who have spoken anonymously and conflictingly to the press, tells Fox News that Bin Laden was "scared" and "completely confused" during the raid, "shoving his wife" at the Navy SEAL who went on to kill him. (It was originally claimed that Bin Laden used his wife as a "human shield," a claim which was later refuted.) Bin Laden acted in a "cowardly manner," according to "sources," who also confirmed the earlier New York Times report that Bin Laden had two guns "within reach." Again: historic villain, anonymous sources, shifting storyline, Fox News, grains of salt. [Fox News]
