Pakistani official said on Tuesday that one of Osama Bin Laden's sons disappeared after the United States raid of the Abbottabad compound where Bin Laden was killed on Sunday, May 1. Bin Laden's three wives in Pakistani custody said one child has not been accounted for, and "investigators agreed that it appeared someone was missing from the sprawling compound," ABC News reports. The U.S. says Bin Laden's son Khalid died in the attack, leaving 19-year-old Hamza, whose mother is being held, as the most likely to have escaped.

Hamza has been called the "crown prince of terror," the New York Post reports, since he called for international destruction in a terror video marking the anniversary of the London bombings.

It has been reported that Bin Laden took five wives, though details on the bunch are scarce and ever-changing, while reports on the number of children Bin Laden fathered range from 18 to 24.

Meanwhile, Bin Laden's adult sons, led by Omar Bin Laden, released a statement grilling the United States on why their father "was not arrested and tried in a court of law so that truth is revealed to the people of the world," the New York Times reports, and wondered about ""the propriety of such assassination where not only international law has been blatantly violated."

"We maintain that arbitrary killing is not a solution to political problems," said the statement, which attempts to lend itself legitimacy by not vouching for the elder Bin Laden's terrorist ways.

"We want to remind the world that Omar bin Laden, the fourth-born son of our father, always disagreed with our father regarding any violence and always sent messages to our father, that he must change his ways and that no civilians should be attacked under any circumstances," the statement said. "Despite the difficulty of publicly disagreeing with our father, he never hesitated to condemn any violent attacks made by anyone, and expressed sorrow for the victims of any and all attacks."
