Sophisticated Smuggler Busted With Suitcase Full of Baby Animals

Cute, not good for luggage.
In the craziest tale of an animal smuggler we've heard this year, a man was busted in Thailand with the following in his luggage:

1. 2 baby leopards 2. 2 baby panthers 3. a baby bear 4. 2 baby macaque monkeys

The man, a 36-year-old UAE citizen whom we will dub the Noah of Smuggling, was busted at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport as he awaited his first-class flight with his ark suitcase. The animals, which were "all about the size of puppies," behaved adorably:

When authorities opened the suitcases, the animals yawned, said Steven Galster, director of FREELAND, who was present during the bust.

"It was a very sophisticated smuggling operation. We've never seen one like this before," Galster said. "The guy had a virtual zoo in his suitcases."

Insert oversize luggage joke here. The man, who seems to have certain connections (to start, where did he get all these adorable baby animals?), has been released on bail, while the animals are now in custody, which is good, because they might not have survived the flight. Here's video.
