Grant Cardone Takes to the Huffington Post to Head Off "Haters"

Loves criticism, apparently
Grant Cardone, NatGeo's "Turnaround King" proves, at least, that he can write inspirational salespeak babble with the best of them in a post he put up at the Huffington Post today.

Titled "Why Criticism Is Important To Success," Cardone does everything but actually mention what kind of criticism he's been receiving since his show premiered last week.

Allow us to remind him.

Cardone is working a cute trick throughout his post. He's only being criticized, he says, because he's successful. In fact, that criticism is a sign that he's doing the right thing. So it only makes sense to thrive on it.

Stuart Smalley couldn't knock an affirmation like that. Here's Grant's "formula":

Criticism and the Success Formula

1) Get so much attention you start to get criticism.
2) Disregard the criticism and get more attention. (Never attack the haters).
3) Criticism will increase to new levels, even lies, increasing the amount of attention again.
4) Continue getting attention, disregarding the criticism, until admiration, at which point the haters will move on to pick another target (they always do)!

Cardone, of course, doesn't touch the controversy that we've been delving into here at Runnin' Scared over the past week: that Cardone, as a wealthy and high-level Scientologist, did dirty work for the church by sliming a well-known and respected acting coach, Milton Katselas, with e-mails intended to ruin the 73-year-old man's reputation.

This is especially repugnant because of the persona Cardone is developing at the NatGeo show -- an up-with-people, supportive sales guru who counseled the owners of a failing Gold's Gym (in the premiere episode) to trust and rely on their talented workers to help fix their business. What an egalitarian, understanding, help-the-little-guy kind of guy!

Cardone's sick treatment of fellow Scientologist Katselas, revealed so unsparingly in his own letter to the old man, doesn't really fit that picture.

He seemed to be following a different program then, just four years ago:

Slander and the Way of Happiness

1) Give so much cash DM starts to quiver.
2) Disregard a man's lifelong dedication and get him, cold. (Haters attack first.)
3) Intimidate at new levels, even with lies, increasing the amount of pressure.
4) Continue giving pressure, disregarding the damage, until ruin, at which point haters will move on to pick another target (DM always finds another one)!

Grant Cardone is part of nothing new.  National Geographic better read up on this.

GRANT CARDONE'S  PR trick -- spin the whistle-blowing --> pCriticism and the Success Formula

1) Get so much attention you start to get criticism.

Hahaha. Well guess whatters Grant Cardone, you will WELCOME being Fair Gamed and all the attention that will get you, then.  Let's hear you squeal with delight!

Pathetic greasy car salesman. Good bye National Geographic, you're tanking or been bought.

Cardone, Meskiman and the whole cadre of pseudo celebs are kool-aide drinkers marching in lock-step to what Miscavige tells them. He is to them all-seeing, all-wise, and always right. Any slightest counter to the ideological tape they have stored in what is left of their minds and their ability to freely think, is met with a Pavlovian, Miscavige-driven response. It is pathetic what has become of these people. They have totally perverted the concept of "the greatest good for the greatest number". They have become an inbred family which will ultimately feed on itself.

Check out the "other" OSA blog   (the other side of their evil twin who writes Black Propaganda defamation bullshit to "ruin" people)

They even cart out Buzz Aldrin in this!!! Somebody tell Mr. Aldrin, he is being USED BIG TIME by schmoozer.   So here's what they got to offer CELEBRTIES!!! (not!!!)(Kate Holmes cannot dance, cannot sing and cannot act, true)

go to    scientologist (dot) blogspot (dot) com

For a good laugh.  Tom Cruise cannot stop his FLow 0   (self to self) love, the only roles he does get himself and his fat ego off.

And please someone warn Buzz Aldrin ... OSA is Black PRing people to the guy.  He of all people should get a heads up.

Could the Crutch of Scientology be behind Buzz Aldrin's recent divorce, coaching him like they did Tom Bruise who replaced the ravishing Oscar-winning talented intelligent Nicole with lumpy, clunky smirky-mouthed helium-talking fashion slob Katie Holmes?!

The Crutch also tried to break of (secretly, of course) Steven Spielberg's marriage, seeing his intelligent wife as an obstacle to their assimilating him. (true)

Here is my comment "pending approval" at Huffpo:

I don't agree with your formula. If we look at the Scientology organization, we can see that ignoring criticism simply generates more, until the business model starts crashing.

You seem to adhere to the adage, "Any publicity is good publicity." It's not. Any business that repeatedly finds itself at the wrong end of negative publicity is not going to linger favorably in the public's mind.

You are not going to win admiration with allegations of child labor, human trafficking, harassment and intimidation of critics and ex-members, medical malfeasance, forced abortions in the Sea Org, and human rights abuses.

The model you present is flawed, because you are assuming that admiration will follow attention drawn by criticism. In the scenario mentioned above, we shall see who is right in the near future.

YUCK, that Grant Cardone fellow is so slick and sneaky looking he is the perfect representative of the Miscavige Scientology Church.  Does the public know Grant Cardone  is sneaking in "Scientology"   or is he using a different practice? I thought that was not allowed by the "Church" and they had to credit Hubbard?

I have to say that has to be the most stupid, ridiculous, misguided piece of advice I have ever heard from a "business leader". If I didn't know the background to his asinine article I would have mistaken it for satire.

1) Get so much attention you start to get criticism.

Attention from doing what? Slaying innocent bystanders? Talking drivel?

2) Disregard the criticism and get more attention. (Never attack the haters).

Disregard the criticism? Genius! What if your product or project is missing some vital modification which would actually make it excellent, and stop the mountains of criticism you are unaccountably receiving? Nope, ignore it all, your customers must all be deluded.

3) Criticism will increase to new levels, even lies, increasing the amount of attention again.

So, your customers have told you they are not happy with your product or project. They go completely batsh*t crazy because you are ignoring them. Your bank manager tries to reach you. The newspapers have now been called, and possibly the police.

4) Continue getting attention, disregarding the criticism, until admiration, at which point the haters will move on to pick another target (they always do)!

For some inexplicable reason, your customers, the press and the law enforcement agencies will magically stop tearing down your door, and pat you on the back. Your bank manager will simply lend you more money to throw after the massive loss you have so far sustained.

There are many and varied situations a business person can find themselves in. Cordone's formula works in only one of them. The rare situation where you have the potential for a great outcome, which everyone else thinks is rubbish, and you need to believe in yourself to see it through.

For the 999 other possible inputs into this equation, disaster will follow because you are not listening to your customers or potential customers.

People who followed this equation include:- The makers of "new recipe coke", the designers of the Ford Edsel, Betamax, Bernie Madoff, Polaroid and pets.com.

Let's be honest: this is a Hubbard formula, and the one which generated the horror of the Church of Scientology. Well, that's not strictly true, this one says "never attack the haters" - LRH would be turning in his between-life implant-station bunk-bed.

It's even more repugnant, Tony, because of the whole backstory on the Gold Gym.  No one goes into a franchise gym without being bombarded by sales forms, and who gets by with going 7 months without paying little bills, like your lease?  I knew the story would be an extreme one, and it was.

Well, it turns out that this was a JCC (Jewish Community Center/Campus) for years and operated as a non-profit.  And guess what,  in order to get a variance to a  for-profit, there were certain deals/promises made to the community.  Many of the staff would remain, and the price points would stay the same for current members.  Not forever, but this combined with new owners, no sales/marketing experience, agreeing to the same conditions that had the JCC failing, makes it tough.  But then add on exhorbitant renovations and additions.

So it would be hard Not to help this place out.  Oh and getting Free marketing from another company, not confirmed yet as Scientologist's Postcardmania in Clearwater, FL,  but Joy was the name of the postcard lady.  And I'm pretty sure being on national TV will help a little.

So that's a whole lotta "attention" Mr Cardone forgot to include, like attention to certain details he would rather stay hidden maybe?  oh vey

http://njjewishnews.com/njjn.c...

Just another piece of the puzzle, Gold Gym has had merry-go-round personnel changes at the very top for the last decade.   Or is that Musical Chairs?  Well Miscavige would know about that superior business tech.http://clubindustry.com/forpro...

Here's a Cardone personality summation within the above Huff piece, and I quote " A supposed "social media expert" wrote me saying, "the #1 rule with social media is do not post too much." Notice his criticism offers no solution, only what not to do. He should be thanking me for freely giving away information once every hour, but instead he criticizes beneath the claim of rules and help."

You see, we should be Thanking Mr. Cardone, silly!  Want your kids to grow up to be Narcissist, then buy this book/tape/seminar/whatever.  We all have bumped into Mr Nacissist in our lives, or should I say, been run over by him/her.  Madoff was successful too, but you don't see his former life cheerleaders visiting in prison.  Sadly,  no telling how long he'll get his own reality show too.

Jim Meskimen...who does the same disconnection activities for  the cult...is one of the early posters.

Comedian/Bit actor Jim Meskimen's lashing out  at a fellow scientologist for talking to Mark Headley on facebook Is a classic example!

I love the way the Scientologist tells Mr Meskimen to "mind his own business"-and that its not his place to tell anyone who they can and cannot communicate with.

Sneaky Grant
Sneaky Grant

Scientologists, as proven by twobit actor Jim Meskimen and salesman Grant Cardone with throwing Miloton Katselas's life goodness away with one letter, will stab each other and anyone else in the back in a second. They live by the Scientology Fair Game Law and don't rely on their own integrity or observation so will follow like zealots group thinking to go after and "destroy" whomever is the "SP" (designated bad person) of the day.   Loyalty? Friendship?  Does not exist in Scientology.

Mediocrity

Jim Meskimen is as mediocre as they come.  His kid works at the Hollywood Scientology Centre --- pathetic excuse for talent.

Warning (frank l)
Warning (frank l)

LOL Jim Meskimen is also a brown-nosing liar.  He comments on the Grant Cardone blog "“Well said, Mr. Cardone! I wish I had some criticism to offer...”   ROFLMAO.  The thing is if he did "offer" any criticism, he would be accused of "nattering" and dragged in to see the ETHICS OFFICER, where he would be pressured to pay thousands of dollars for "security checking" to cleanse him of his crimes.  FACT.

Grant Cardone -- note to OSA.  Grant Cardone is spouting off "other practices".  What happened, didn't he learn his "O/W" Technology (Overy Withhold)  Criticism is not a good thing in Scientology, it is called Natter.   And means undisclosed crimes, right?  Or is that just used inside the orhanization and outside you pretend anything to "get people in"??

OSA, drag that crackpot Grant Cardone into Ethics, he's doing other practices! He's on OT8, top enlightenment level Scientologist for Ron's sake!  What's he doing not telling people about NATTER...and letting them know that behind his flashy (if empty) smile, there are  plans underway to BEHIND THE BACKS of anyone offering "criticism" to secretly utterly discredit defame and run them?

And General Publi:  Be SUre that anyone posting on Grant Cardone's bog WILL BE surveilled for IP addresss and any other info you give.  And you will be tracked down by OSA.   Same for you National GEOGRAPHIC.

Well...I was wrong.  Everyone pile on Jim Meskimen.  Here's your chance.Be sure to mention his own acting school meant to pull people away from Katselas' school is The Acting Center (theactingcenterla dot com ) is completely scientology.

His formula is inane. I've fixed it for him:

Success Formula1) Get attention.2) Get more attention.3) [take no action]4) Continue getting attention!

That ought to help all those struggling businesses.

Seriously Tony Ortega nails it with this summary, adn that is *exactly* what Grant Cardone (and others) did and do:

Slander and the Way of Happiness

    1) Give so much cash DM starts to quiver.    2) Disregard a man's lifelong dedication and get him, cold. (Haters attack first.)   3) Intimidate at new levels, even with lies, increasing the amount of pressure.  4) Continue giving pressure, disregarding the damage, until ruin, at which point haters will move on to pick another target (DM always finds another one)!

Thank you Tony Ortega.  Thank you for calling it as it is.

What the Voice summarizes is giving good people a voice against the oppressive duplicity of the Scientology way of life.   The summary of how Scientologists will turn on someone on a dime is pathological everyday behavior,  they set out to destroy and infiltrate  people and business's lives (google: Scientology Fair Game  and Scientology Office of Special Affairs) with the most vile and despicable (dishonest) campaigns possible.

Grant Cardone's letter about Milton Katselas is one example of this toxic, dishonest organization.
