Jon Stewart Bleeds Over Anthony Weiner in Press Conference Impression
Jon Stewart gently mocked his old friend Anthony Weiner as the penis scandal escalated last week, and even yesterday, with Weiner taking full responsibility for his porny internet time, Stewart's response was without the kinds of cutting jokes expected of The Daily Show when a powerful person screws up so royally. And so on Tuesday, Stewart apologized. He did so in a mock-press conference and with a spot-on Weiner impression, admitting that 59 jokes, nine penis puns, and more still didn't satisfy Stewart's responsibility on Weinergate. "I recognize now that it was not enough," he says. Here is his penance; there will be blood.

everyone is saying that stewart and weiner were college roommates. stewart attended william and mary; weiner, suny. am i missing something? they were only roommates when weiner and some of stewart's college friends rented a summer house in delaware (and i don't know how they got to know each other then) and been friends since then. unless they both attended together the same college before graduating and then transferred to their respective alma maters?
