Manhattan Pools Open Tomorrow
Summer is now officially summer, and by that we mean not only is the sun shining down on our bare shoulders but also that Manhattan's 54 city pools will open tomorrow, just in time to take advantage of this really quite lovely weather (82 degrees and mostly sunny!) and the last day of school, which is today. Starting Wednesday, city pools will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Pool time extends through Labor Day weekend. Search NYC.gov to find your nearest swimming hole. Also, regardless of the legality of toplessness in the city, bathing suits are required. But what about last year's dumpster pools? We'll keep you posted. [DNA Info]
