Twitter Users Give America's Cities Their Own Special Names

ColumnFive and InboxQ.com have created the cutest little map of the some of the various ways people on Twitter describe their locations throughout America -- 66 percent of the time we don't pick a city name, but instead go with something clever or extra-special, like "Home of NASCAR" or "Whale's Vagina." In New York, where there are quite a lot of Twitter users, we apparently like "Gotham." But mostly we just like this map. Hanging Basket Capital? (Click to enlarge.)

This map is awesome, if Facebook does something similar, and if it's based on the number of users per state, I would imagine that it would be a much larger map.

I'd wager somehow the Miami of Canada is less fun than either of those two
