Weed-Selling Game Launches on Facebook
A Farmville-esque game where users sell weed launched in beta this week on Facebook. This isn't an example of high-tech countercultural entrepreneurialism; it's to promote the Showtime program Weeds. The game is called "Weeds Social Club" and it was developed by Ecko|Code, the technology arm of the company that manufactures this. If you aren't into social media-premium cable synergy, you could always just sell weed for real. (We are not advocating dealing drugs; we are only offering alternatives to Farmville alternatives.)
