Anders Behring Breivik's YouTube Manifesto

• Clearly someone slept through civics class. The whole point of free speech is not letting anyone pick and choose what kind of speech is harmful. Jesus we really need logic training in public school. It's like Internet nerds are the only ones that have ever heard of critical thinking or logical rigor.

• That is a damn fine point. By hiding this kind of stuff all you do is convince dangerous people that they are the first. Indeed the first pages of the document in question rambles about how unique it is. True or not clearly novelty was part of the motivation and censorship causes an artificially inflated sense of novelty.

• On the other hand, not allowing people to disseminate or view information might encourage other extremists to commit violence in the expectation that their manifesto will get publicity, whether or not the manifesto of someone else got publicity in the past, anyway.

• just saw a headline that casey anthony will be receiving 1 million dollars for a television interview, how many people will be tuned into the set to view? I wonder if you will stick to your statement and not watch it, that is unless" you want to satisfy your curious and crazieness" to possibly follow in her footsteps.

• So why doesn't Youtube also erase vids about 9/11, as they might (AND DID) fuel more terrorist actio from the fucking DIPERHEADS?! Why doesn't Youtube erase the hate messages from all ISLAMIC PIGS from their serves, as they may (AND DO) call for terrorist attacks on the white man (also known as the ONLY THEORY OF THAT SHIT SECT CALLED (FUCKING) ISLAM) ? Or is fucking diperhead terrorism ok and the reponse to it not ok? And if so, why?! Why is it that nobody can touch the shit, sub-human diperhead, but everybody feels the need to whip the hell out of the white man, who is only defending himself and his motherlands?! To be honest, I only disagree wiith the targets, as they should have been EXCLUSIVELY ISLAMIC! Islamists are a cancer which we'd better cleanse the world from by using those damned warheads that must have been built for some purpose!

• What would be the purpose of keeping this video available for all to see, other than to satisfy the curious and the crazies who would learn and follow in his foot steps? I am glad YouTube removed it. It serves no good purpose. Free speech yes, but not when it can cause devastation and just feed the flames of hatred and the misplaced superiority feelings of the extremists.

• What does that mean?  (violates terms of service)  It did not violate anything at the time it was uploaded...or why was it allowed?  Who is youtube to censor anything.  Sorry, freedom of speech is useless without the freedom to access speech acts delivered and related content.  Why should some get to see or watch for a day then the rest of us are forbidden?  WTF means, what is the point of hiding this video.  I'm seeking news items through google searches, find a reputable blog hosted by a reputable writer and am denied access.  Maybe its better just to search for alien encounters, Sarah Palin's comments, and scenes from the latest douchebag tv series?  Oh?  WTF?  I think I should just go back to facebook and send George Orwell a friend request.  Who needs news or insight?  The economy is great.  Everyone loves everyone. All are happy, fed, nourished, hopeful, etc.  WTF?

• Thank you for taking the time to make this video available. It's been taken off Youtube and I haven't been able to find it elsewhere either. Being world news it's good to find it accessible at least somewhere, or "onewhere", as it were. Impressive too that you still have it available after 9+ hours.
