Long Island Mansion Gives Us Sensory Overload

It's great when people's places of residence have their own names like Grey Gardens or the White House. That's why we were so taken by this quaint colonial home in Long Island called Boulder Beach -- oh yeah, and it's ridiculous. The $12 million Long Island pad featured on CBS's Living Large has beautiful views, a huge kitchen, a private beach and way too many patterns. Seriously? We've got florals, stripes, ginghams and wallpaper with "scenes of the North Americas" that the owner says is the same as the stuff Jackie O put up in the White House? Too much. But at least it's not a Manhattan apartment with a pool. Wait, there's a putting green. It just went from B&B to Real Housewives. [CBS]
