Michele Bachmann Thinks Being Homosexual is "Part of Satan"

Jeremy Hooper has identified the money shot audio of Michele Bachmann's 2004 speech at the 2004 National Education Leadership Conference in Minneapolis. Although she insists she's not "bashing people who are homosexuals, who are lesbians, who are bisexual, who are transgendered," Bachmann goes on to say she has a "member of our family that is" in "the lifestyle," and that "this is not funny. It's a very sad life. It's part of Satan, I think, to say this is gay. It's anything but gay."

Bachman and her husband have been mum ever since a Truth Wins Out undercover video, highlighted on ABC last night, showed that a clinic they own utilizes the widely discredited homosexual "reparative therapy." Maybe this audio speaks for where the Bachmanns are coming from. It certainly shows that Sarah "I Shop at Out of the Closet" Palin was only the first, and relatively sane, stop on the GOP LGBT crazy train.

She said that the idea that being homosexual could be "gay," i.e. happy and not sad, was of Satan. She also said homosexuality is a "very real issue of sexual dysfunction."

Well yeah, I didn't have any notion that she might be tolerant, but I feared that the headline of this post could be cited as an example of the "liberal media's lies."

She didn't say that "being homosexual" is "part of Satan," but that making the word gay (i.e., happy) synonymous with homosexual is.
