Petra Kvitova Beats Maria Sharapova in Wimbledon Final

Petra Kvitova, a 21-year-old left-hander from the Czech Republic, beat Maria Sharapova today to claim the women's singles title at Wimbledon. Kvitova took care of Sharapova 6-3, 6-2 to win her first ever Grand Slam. Novak Djokavic will take on Rafael Nadal for the men's title tomorrow, which can be seen at 9:00 a.m. on NBC. [ESPN]
