Westboro Baptist Church Coming to New York Sunday to Protest Same-Sex Marriage

Yesterday, we wrote about how NOM will be protesting same-sex marriage through the state on Sunday, but at locations which appear to be keeping their distance from actual weddings. However, according to a schedule posted on godhatesfags.com, the Westboro Baptist Church will also be picketing the first day of same-sex marriage, but will be doing so right in the faces of same-sex couples.

Their schedule is after the jump.

We'd like to point out to our readers -- especially those getting wed this weekend and their friends and family -- that while NOM is kind of chicken and going to places where no one will be challenging them, Westboro Church makes its money off of agitating people until they physical fight them. And then, they sue you. They are not a "church" in the traditional sense, but just a group that travels around the nation inciting extreme reactions and making money off of them. So just keep that in mind if you're throwing rice at your lesbian friends on Sunday, and are suddenly confronted by a "FAGS DIE GOD LAUGHS" sign.

Here's their schedule for Sunday:

NYC Marriage Bureau in Manhattan - 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM

NYC Marriage Bureau in Brooklyn - 9:45 AM - 10:30 AM

NYC Marriage Bureau in the Bronx - 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM

Gracie Mansion (where the Mayor will preside over the wedding of two staffers) - 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

And just why, exactly, are they doing this? According to their website:
WBC will picket the reprobates of fag-infested New York state to remind them that God defined marriage as a sacred union between one man and one woman for life. That means NO fag marriage, no dyke marriage and no divorce + remarriage! For their defiance of their Lord, New Yorkers will suffer the wrath of God being poured out on them from the sky, just as others in history who have followed this path experienced.
