Escaped Bull Flees Slaughterhouse In Queens

This bull charging down Liberty Avenue in Jamaica Queens was escaping a local slaughterhouse, where it was slated to meet its end. It drew support and admiration for its daring escape from onlookers.

Tragically, the bull was cornered in a construction site on CUNY's York College Campus where it was sedated by two workers from the slaughterhouse who quickly brought the beast back to the butcher's. This isn't how we treat our liberated animals; we're supposed to create Twitter presences for them and reward them for their courage like Kayli, the cow in Philadelphia, who was given a pardon by Governor Tom Corbett and will live out the rest of her days in the Catskills. Vegetarianism is sounding pretty good right now. [Via Gothamist] [@willisplummer]

Does it make you feel cool saying something like this?   I guess if you have nothing else to contribute, it does.
