Jennifer Tzar, Photographer, Arrested for Having 10 lbs. of Weed in her Apartment

On Friday morning, fire marshals reportedly discovered 10 lbs. of marijuana while searching photographer Jennifer Tzar's SoHo apartment. The Daily News says that Tzar, who has been featured in Rolling Stone, Spin and LIFE, "was arrested at the scene." The search originally commenced in an effort to discover the cause of a 3-alarm fire at 68 Thompson Street, but instead it yielded a head stash weighing as much as a cesarean-delivered baby.

Jennifer Tzar's website lists her photography as "Offbeat and arresting...in the realm of magical realism, project defiance and individuality." We contacted Tzar for comment but were unable to reach her. We will update this space pending any communication.

We spoke with the Fire Department, who told us the fire resulted in 11 minor injuries, ten of which were sustained by firemen. The cause of the blaze is still undetermined.

The Fire Department had no comment on Jennifer Tzar's arrest, nor did they mention how sticky this alleged giant stash of bud is.

thats how the crack monsters do it in florida.....they get cracked out....perform criminal activities and than someone calls the police...and than the crack monster tells the officer(misleading police) that a neighbor --what you got some weed over here...well....we are now not interested in the criminal activity, but to bust you for not doing anythng but possessing weed on your property..an arrest is much easier to perform on possession than actual criminal violent activities...especially if the crack monsters know the system better than you do cause they like to cause problems...its fun for them...since they cannot find anything better to do with their time while they are hyanging out....crack monsters do not like to clean or repair or do positive things with their time like be a role model...theyre game is bullying...getting their homies to violate their enemies..who r anyone who does not do cocaine or crack or smoke pills or who won't prostitute for them...they do this to unsuspecting people in an effort to acquire property for their gang of thugs. They steal from your house, rip your business off, cause property damage, refuse to go to work, run out in front of cars(so the driver will go to jail), intice your children to use their crack/cocaine...Thank God for angels and that this disgust has ben properly handled in our neighborhood. Until the crack monsters find another willing paticipant to reign in the hood and become their bully for them in another attempt at takeover the properties for their own nasty cynical greed.
