Police sketch of the suspect
On Wednesday at about 2:25 a.m. on the southbound F subway line near the Fort Hamilton Parkway station, a man approached a woman sitting alone and put his hand on her throat while pulling out a knife. He demanded that she give him her money and took her purse containing money and an iPhone. He then ordered her to take off her underwear, though he didn't assault her sexually beyond that.

He then got off the train and is seen in this video crossing the northbound platform at the Fort Hamilton Parkway station:

The suspect is described as a 45-50 year-old black male, about 5'10" and 200 pounds with a stocky build and scruffy facial hair. He was last seen wearing a maroon sweater, dark pants and dark work shoes.

Anyone with info should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.

I've read your comments on the TSA. I apologize for having to take the measure to bring up here but I demand a response. You write "It's not that we like the TSA -- they're always groping people -- but, you know, you'd need to replace them with some other kind of security system otherwise people would get very, very upset"Also you take a sarcastic tone regarding Nancy Campbell. You say :"a female agent stopped her on the way to her gate and gave her a three-minute frisking, involving a lot of manhandling of the breasts, crotch, and inner thigh." She was told after becoming upset, " as told that if she didn't submit to the pat-down she wouldn't be allowed to fly:When she balked, the agent told her, "You can either continue on flailing about, or you can let me do my job. If you don't, you can't fly." Apparently Campbell got on her flight in tears."What if this woman had been the 1 in 6 that have been sexually assaulted and then put through this? Many say, oh she could simply not fly. I've seen this idiot response all over the net,as if people have forgotten people get on planes for work most of the time. The MSM was failed at bringing up this aspect, while sparing no expense at describing the terror women face in countries we are going to war with.
