Twitter's First Homepage Was a Bit Clunky
"If you have a cell and can txt, you'll never be bored again...EVER!" Keep in mind that this is from 2006.
This was dug up from the mists of time by Jason Kottke, who also links to the first Google homepage, the first Facebook, and even the first Tumblr dashboard, all of which are chuckle-worthy in a nostalgic kind of way.
For contrast, here's Twitter's current homepage:
