Betsey Johnson Designing an 'Eloise'-Themed Christmas Tree For the Plaza Hotel

Christmastime is coming, and with it Christmas trees. The most fun tree this year -- more fun than the recently-arrived Rockefeller Center tree -- will probably be the Plaza Hotel's Eloise-themed tree, designed by kooky Betsey Johnson. A good fit for Eloise, the sassiest little New Yorker of them all. Johnson said in a release, "I absolutely loooove The Plaza, along with Eloise of course!"

The hotel will be holding a tree-lighting teatime on the 28th. Lest you think that this is just some refreshing kid stuff, rest assured that the tree is meant to promote Betsey Johnson's pop-up shop in the Plaza this winter.
